Massage is a specialty within the practice of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), it can be applied alone or as a part of overall treatment strategy. For lay persons, massage is suitable to do at home, to supplement any treatment or promote health.

TCM claims that massage benefits the overall physical condition.
